Petri Cultures of Life

Judge John Robert is a thoughtful, principled conservative. Judge Robert has not publicly stated a position on the abortion issue. However in 1990, as Principal Deputy Solicitor General for President George H. W. Bush, Roberts, wrote a legal brief for a pending Supreme Court case stating the Administration position "that Roe was wrongly decided and should be overruled…"

“One of the most consequential decisions a President makes is his appointmet of a Justice to the Supreme Court. When a President chooses a Justice, he's placing in human hands the authority and majesty of the law. The decisions of the Supreme Court affect the life of every American.”

“And so a nominee to that Court must be a person of superb credentials and the highest integrity; a person who will faithfully apply the Constitution and keep our founding promise of equal justice under law. I have found such a person in Judge John Roberts.”
- President George W. Bush, announcing the nomination of Judge John Roberts, July 19, 2005

President Bush as demonstrated, in both word and action, a steadfast commitment to building a culture of life in America where “every child is welcomed into life and protected by law.” Pro-life citizens have every reason to be optimistic and pleased by the nomination of Judge John Roberts.

Pro-abortion organizations, such as the National Abortion Federation, Planned Parenthood, NARAL, NOW and many others are spending millions of dollars to sway public opinion in an attempt to derail Judge Robert’s nomination. It is vital that pro-life citizens in every state take action now to support the confirmation of Judge Roberts.
