Pravda
I hold on to stationary forever. I'm always intending to write little notes, and never do. But Sunday, I finally did.
I sent a handwritten explaination to the letter to the editor pgs of the NYTimes why I am cancelling my weekend subscription (which I love, and pay an obscene $30 a month for).
I forget the exact wording but something to the effect of:
You let your paper print government propaganda. Sans adequate mea culpas or retractions. Then you allowed that fact to be covered up in the name of journalistic integrity. I can't read your paper never knowing whether I'm reading Pravda.
Judy's a - whats the word - an Ezra Pound? A fashionista chic upper crust educated social butterfly, and a fascist. Aspens turning within Aspens, my ass.
